Job Description
As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial processes, reporting accuracy, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, support budgeting activities, and contribute to strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST filings, tax matters, and statutory compliance
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Support process improvements, cost controls, and system enhancements
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations, if applicable
- Guide and supervise junior finance staff where necessary
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalentAt least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting / financeProficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS ExcelStrong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulationsExcellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetPrior experience in a SME, consultancy, or multi-entity environment is an advantageTell employers what skills you have
