Lab Technician - Cosmetic, 1 year contract, Entry level - SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

Be part of an applications lab that prepares and evaluates samples used in home & personal care testing. You’ll keep day-to-day lab work running smoothly while supporting product evaluations.

Salary : Up to $2,500 basic

Hours : Mon–Fri, 8 : 30am–5 : 30pm

Location : West

What you’ll do

• Get test pieces (e.g., towels / fabric swatches) ready and ensure washers / equipment are clean and scent-free.
• Mix, label and pack small-batch samples for evaluation, stability checks and market trials; release only when quality criteria are met.
• Track oils / consumables and handle simple inventory updates.
• Operate basic lab instruments, take measurements and record results neatly in templates.
• Maintain a safe, tidy workspace and follow SOPs / 5S practices.
• Join team mini-projects to streamline processes.
• Work closely with internal partners from applications, creative and commercial teams.
