1. Strategy & Roadmap (Singapore)
- Build and maintain the Singapore Digital & Data Roadmap, aligned to
 
business strategy and Group architecture standards; span teaching & learning
(LMS / classroom tech), admissions & enrolment, parent communications,
safety & duty of care, finance / HR systems, and facilities / IoT where relevant.
Translate pain points into prioritised epics with benefit cases, timelines, andbudget asks; ensure fit with EdTech directions in Singapore schools.
2. Business Relationship Management (BRM)
Serve as the single point of contact between business leaders (Principals,Heads of Department, Corporate leads) and IT.
Run structured demand intake, discovery workshops, and user journeymapping; maintain a visible backlog and decision logs.
3. Delivery Orchestration (through the IT team)
No direct line control over school operations : partner with the IT team toplan releases, sequence dependencies, and remove blockers.
Define acceptance criteria and value KPIs; ensure training, enablement,and change management for teachers and staff. (Emphasis on operational
effectiveness and continuous improvement echoes leading IT performance
roles).
4. Hands on Prototyping & POCs (incl. AI)
Build quick POCs (low code / cloud tools, data prototypes, LLM poweredassistants) to test feasibility and value.
Design AI guardrails (prompt / data policies, human in the loop) with PDPA compliant data handling.5. Data, Security & Compliance
Champion data governance for student, parent, and staff data; alignprocesses and vendor contracts with PDPA obligations and school policies.
Coordinate with Group Security and Legal on risk, BCP / DR, incidentreadiness, and privacy impact assessments.
6. Architecture & Vendor Management
Ensure solutions integrate with core platforms (e.g., SIS, LMS, identity / MDM,analytics) and follow Group standards.
Shape RFPs, evaluate vendors, manage SLAs, and track total cost ofownership and ROI.
7. Performance & Value Realisation
Establish IT performance metrics for Singapore (adoption, uptime,time to onboard, issue MTTR, digital NPS); run monthly dashboards and
reviews to CEO SG -mirroring best practices around portfolio / performance
management.
Qualifications :
At leastDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relatedfield; advanced degree a plus.
5+ years in technology and / or digital roles with at least 1-3 years partneringsenior business stakeholders; education or multi-site services experience
advantageous.
Demonstrated IT governance / portfolio skills (prioritisation, value tracking) and change management in complex environments. (Comparable leadership / accountability patterns are seen in global ITBP roles.Hands on ability to build POCs (low code apps, analytics prototypes, workflow automation, LLM pilots).Familiarity with SIS / LMS, identity / MDM, integration patterns (APIs / iPaaS), cloud services, and analytics / BI is a plus.Understanding of PDPA and education sector expectations in Singapore; being able to embed compliance by design is also a plus.
