Roles & Responsibilities
The Clinic Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the reception area, attending to patients, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to doctors during consultations. The duties and responsibilities include :
Manage the reception area, greeting patients, and handling phone calls professionally.
Attend to patients and perform front-desk duties including registration, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing billing.
Process insurance claims, handle Medisave transactions, and conduct regular stock-taking of medical supplies.
Update billing records accurately and reconcile daily collections.
Provide assistance to doctors during consultations, ensuring patients’ needs are met efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Job Requirements
Experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in medical billing software and basic computer skills.
