Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

DevOps Engineer

Work Location : Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Apply strong security measures and ensure compliance across systems.
  • Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and minimize downtime.
  • Automate routine tasks to improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with developers, security, and IT teams to enhance processes.
  • Implement logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Manage code repositories and version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell, or Go).
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI).
  • Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Good understanding of Linux, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with microservices and serverless technologies.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Comfortable in Agile and DevOps environments.
