Job description

Responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction and installation within a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.

Site Supervision and Inspection : Monitoring the installation of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) on-site, ensuring they are installed correctly according to drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.

Quality Control : Inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards, documenting findings, and reporting any deviations.

Progress Monitoring : Tracking the progress of mechanical works, identifying potential delays, and reporting them to the relevant parties.

Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material lists, test results, and inspection reports.

Coordination : Liaising with other trades, contractors, and the project management team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of works.

Compliance : Ensuring all mechanical works comply with relevant regulations, safety standards (e.g., BCA regulations), and the terms of the contract.

Testing and Commissioning : Assisting with the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including preparing documentation and coordinating with relevant parties.

Requirements :

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
Experience in site supervision and quality control.
Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and safety standards.
Good communication and coordination skills.
