Job Summary :

The Medical Technologist I is responsible to perform laboratory testing and maintenance of daily operations in the laboratory so as to achieve smooth running of a quality laboratory service at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities

Bio-Banking Operations

• Handle sample submission, registration, and transfers
• Process blood samples into various components
• Operate liquid handling equipment to facilitate processing.
• Maintain accurate record and documentation of procedures.
• Extract nucleic acid (RNA / DNA) from bio-specimens.
• Perform efficient and accurate data entry into database
• Ensure cleanliness of laboratory environment
• Proper and regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Ensure that the SOPs and safety regulations are followed
