PROJECT SECTION MANAGER
About the Position
We are seeking a strategic Section Manager to provide leadership for the execution and maintenance of our Smart Automation & Security Solutions Projects (covering, Integrated Security System, Extra-Low Voltage systems, and Industry and Building Automation Systems — with applications such as AI, video analytics, and more). Your primary focus will be to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement while optimizing the section's overall performance and health.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for the section, ensuring project delivery is on-time and profitable through rigorous budget and cost control. Support business development with technical estimates and align team execution with company goals
- Oversee the complete delivery lifecycle for all section projects and contracts, including portfolio management, enforcement of standard processes, strategic resource allocation, proactive risk mitigation, and adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage team’s performance through goal-setting, feedback, and mentoring. You will own the recruitment process and be responsible for cultivating a high-performance and collaborative team culture
- Manage key client and stakeholder relationships, including communications and escalations. Additionally, lead negotiations with subcontractors and vendors
- Requires technical expertise in different technology and systems including design, network architecture, and cybersecurity fundamentals. Must be able to review and approve technical documents for accuracy and cost estimation, and evaluate new technologies for project suitability
Requirement
Degree in Electrical / Electronics / IT discipline or equivalentMinimum of 8 years’ experience in design and project Execution Extra Low Voltage, Industry / Building Automation Control, Integrated Security System or other mixed / complex Operational / Information Technology systemMinimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a team which handle large scale project / sPC Literate with strong skills in MS office, MS project, AutocadPossess Class 3 license with own vehicle is an added advantagePossess PMP / CITPM / ITIL 4.0 certification would be an advantageA pro-active and can-do attitudeStrong leadership to inspire, motivate, and hold teams accountableSkilled negotiator with clients, vendors, and stakeholdersProven problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilitySolid technical understanding of project domainsExcellent communication and presentation skillsSound lateral thinking and decision-making capabilityFinancial acumen in P&L, budgeting, and forecastingTell employers what skills you have
