Job Description & Requirements
- Manage daily scheduling and logistical coordination for the movement of specialized raw materials, promptly flagging potential issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholder inquiries, maintaining clear communication with clients, traders, and counterparties.
- Oversee full cargo lifecycles, including inventory management, documentation (Letters of Credit, shipping documents), and coordination with ports, terminals, and inspectors.
- Ensure strict compliance with all international shipping regulations and company procedures for truck, rail, and maritime transport.
- Analyze and reconcile product movement data, manage month-end inventory reporting, and support loss control investigations.
- Optimize trader strategies by leveraging market knowledge and external relationships to resolve logistical challenges.
- Provide coverage for team members and participate in resolving operational disputes as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on operations experience within a physical commodities trading firm.Comprehensive knowledge of dry bulk or metals supply chains, including product specifications, storage, and inspection protocols.Expertise in multi-modal transport logistics (maritime, rail, truck), regulatory compliance, and cargo insurance.A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently.Strong collaborative skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Professional proficiency in English; the ability to understand Mandarin is required for liaising with associates.Tell employers what skills you have
