Job description

I am working with a global private equity real estate platform that continues to grow in Asia. As part of this growth, the business is looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Capital Markets Director to lead leveraged and acquisition financing, equity capital markets and private credit initiatives across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement capital market strategies to optimize the capital structures of the businesses real estate investments.
  • Lead efforts in sourcing, structuring, and negotiating debt financing for acquisitions, refinancing's, and asset recapitalizations.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the real estate capital markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, and other capital market participants.
  • Research and explore private credit opportunities across the region.
  • Managing FX positions across APAC.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or related fields, with a strong focus on real estate.
  • In-depth knowledge of debt and equity financing structures, as well as valuation methodologies and financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong network within the capital markets community.
