Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description :
- Conduct toolbox meetings and implement safety and health measures at site
- Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure HSE compliance
- Ensure each person working on site is registered in the site registry and carry out a site-specific induction for everyone
- Investigate and report on any accidents that occur and take actions to prevent re-occurrence
- Prepare Method Statements / Risk Assessments / Safe Work Procedure
- Maintain project accident statistics
- Handle all safety issues and routines at site
- Liaise with all authorities on safety matters
- Ensure firefighting and security equipment are maintained
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s Code of Conduct and mandatory regulations
Job Requirements :
Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health / Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 3 years’ experience in marine shipyard operationsEnsure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsGood knowledge of Safety Regulations and ProceduresR1552011
