Conduct the portfolio management, including credit monitoring, trigger reports, waiver, and amendments, for the existing borrowers of the departement.
Develop and maintain relationship with and Japanese-related borrowers and sponsors, and Japanese Governmental Agencies in APAC.
Liaise and co-work with relavant departments and SMBC group members conduct internal reportings and have consultations on credit cost / tax / accounting matters as necessary.
Strategic planning for business development of structured finance area in APAC.
Support ad-hoc works as requested by senior staff within the department.
Foster knowledge sharing among team members and inspire others to enhance the team's overall performance.
Job Requirements
Over 7 years of banking sector experiences and at least 5 years experience in project finance.
At least 1-year experience in credit portfolio management and / or agent role of structured finance
Fluent in spoken and written Japanese is desirable as this role needs to discuss with Japanese government agencies / clients and make presentation in Japanese.
Deep sector knowledges in oil & gas and new energy markets.
Proficient in MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint, and financial model analysis.
University graduate with strong academic background

Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively, manage expectations, and meet deadlines, demonstrating high work ethics, integrity, and commitment.
Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law and banking regulations
