Job Description

Position Title : Tax Associate
Working Location : Clarke Quay
Working Hours : 5 days (Monday - Friday, 9am-6.15pm)
Salary Package : Basic + Variable Bonus + AWS
Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Handle corporate, personal income, and GST tax compliance.

Provide detailed advisory services to clients.

Prepare, review, and e-file income tax returns for clients.

Respond to IRAS queries and draft objection letters for disputed assessments.

Advise on tax implications of business transactions including corporate and personal income tax, and GST.

Support tax due-diligence and advise on projects like share swaps and business restructurings.

Assist with GST MES renewal schemes and secure tax rulings or clarifications from IRAS.

Other tasks as directed by Manager.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

SCTP accreditation, such as Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) in Income Tax, preferred.

Possess 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a public accounting or tax consulting environment.

Have a thorough knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate, personal income tax, GST, and general tax compliance.
