About the Team | Manager

This role is part of the APAC Life Science division and reports to senior regional leadership. The team collaborates across functions including Sales, Innovation, and Application Development to shape strategic initiatives for key clusters : Nutrition, Pharma, Savory, and Baking. The role supports cross-functional execution and contributes to building a differentiated product portfolio tailored for the region.

About the Job

As the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the marketing strategy for the Life Science division in Asia Pacific. This includes identifying profitable market niches, developing targeted marketing plans, and driving growth through new applications and business models. A key part of the role is supporting the regional development and promotion of specialty blends tailored to local customer preferences. You will gather market intelligence, support product launches, lead promotional activities (e.g., sales tools, digital media, trade shows), and explore collaboration opportunities. This position requires close interaction with Portfolio Managers and regional commercial teams.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate will possess :

  • A degree in Marketing, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in strategic or industrial marketing within the food ingredients or life sciences sector.
  • Proven track record in market intelligence, communication strategy, and trade show organization.
  • Strong regional insight with experience across APAC markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the region.
  • Strong strategic thinking, self-direction, and goal orientation.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively across departments and levels.
