Roles & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities :
- To HUNT for business to achieve department's budget and target.
- To improve business development and maintain relations with overseas agents.
- To liaise with local sales / customers to grow the business and handle their shipment(i.e., providing booking confirmations, conflict resolutions, billing instructions etc).
- To attend enquiries from overseas agents and customers.
- To provide timely quotations to agents and customers, and follow up with the shipment activations.
- To provide and oversee sales leads to oversea agents and keep track of the progresses and outcomes.
- Collate customer's business trends, progress and statistics.
- To handle projects / shipments and support current project manager.
Secondary Responsibilities :
Arrange and attend overseas agents and customers' sales calls / meetings / visits.Handle RFQ / RFP / tender bid.To handle any ad-hoc projects / assignments from time to time.Provide constructive opinions and suggestions for work improvement.Job Requirements :
Diploma and above in Business Management, or in a relevant discipline..Min. 2 years of sales in logistics working experience.Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.Target driven and proactive attitude.Good proficiency in MS Office skills.Tell employers what skills you have
