Role Summary :

The Automation Systems Engineer is responsible for providing technical oversight and hands-on support for the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment within the Rapid API system. This role ensures seamless and reliable plant operations, enhances staff capabilities, and strengthens site readiness to meet both R&D and manufacturing objectives.

Rapid API is a next-generation robotic and programmable platform designed to automate end-to-end chemical processing — from precise material dispensing and intelligent reaction control to advanced real-time analytics. By integrating robotics, programming, and smart data systems, it delivers reproducibility, regulatory compliance, and accelerates the development of APIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Build & Commissioning

• Assemble, install, and commission new equipment within the Rapid API system.
• Integrate automation and robotic modules with control platforms (Lab-to-Lab) to ensure seamless operation and data connectivity.
• Configure automatic workflows to enable precise material handling, reaction control, and real-time monitoring.
