Job descriptionHelp in creating mechanical system designs, including calculations, selecting components, and making drawings. Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for mechanical parts and systems. Review and verify design calculations for accuracy. Monitor project progress according to schedule and budget. Maintain project documentation, including technical reports and meeting notes. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Assist with the on-site installation and setup of mechanical systems. Conduct quality checks on installed equipment and materials. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during construction. Prepare purchase orders for mechanical components and equipment. Evaluate vendor proposals and source materials based on specifications. Research new technologies and materials relevant to mechanical engineering projects. Analyse engineering data to identify potential issues and suggest solutions. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including material and design, assembly techniques. Skilled in utilizing Solidworks software for drawing creation and modification.
