The Investment Services Private Markets Department is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, portfolio finance, investment operations, tax, and data management services in the execution of private‑market investments in Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credits, and Infrastructure. You play a vital role in delivering investment operation across multiple asset classes, including controllership and special purpose vehicle management for GIC’s investments. What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support private‑markets investment. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Alternative Investment Operation as an Associate (2‑year contract). The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support finance operations throughout the investment’s life cycle. What will you do as an Associate?

Processing daily transactions and funding requirements, updating relevant data and transactions in the accounting and management system Complete month‑end / year‑end closing activities, including the update of market values using external financial information for the fund and direct investments Preparing accounting reconciliations, review of investment holding company accounts and liaison with external auditors Corporate secretarial coordination relating to investment holding companies What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines At least 2 years relevant accounting work experience in the finance, accounting or private equity industry Self‑starter who is detail oriented, very organized and proactive in executing responsibilities Demonstrate a strong risk attitude Enjoys working in a fast‑paced dynamic environment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have practical working experience with accounting software systems Work at the Point of Impact
