Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description :

Job Coach is a hands-on enabler of employment and workplace adaptation , who provides direct support to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to prepare them for employment, facilitate smooth job placement, and ensure successful integration into the workplace through structured coaching and mentorship.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Pre-Employment Preparation

o Support PWDs in resume building, interview preparation, and workplace readiness training.

o Conduct skills assessments and match PWDs to suitable in-house, insourced, or outsourced roles.

Job Placement & Onboarding

o Guide PWDs through onboarding processes and workplace orientation.

o Liaise with employers to clarify job expectations and workplace accommodations.

o Facilitate handholding support for up to 6 months post-placement.

On-the-Job Coaching

o Provide structured coaching during initial employment, ensuring adaptation to job tasks.

o Monitor work performance, identify skill gaps, and arrange refresher bootcamps.

o Mentor PWDs in workplace behaviours, resilience, and career growth.

Database & Reporting Support

o Assist in maintaining and updating the PWD Jobseekers Database with accurate placement and employment information.

o Work with Executives to analyse employment trends and job readiness data.

Employer & Stakeholder Engagement

o Collaborate with employers, HRPB supervisors, and external partners to support inclusive workplace practices.

o Advocate for PWD capabilities and provide feedback to employers on adjustments needed.

Job Specifications : Qualifications

o Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Education, or related field.

o Training in coaching or job facilitation will be advantageous.

Experience

o 2-5 years in employment services, career coaching, HR, or training roles.

o Experience supporting PWDs or other disadvantaged jobseekers is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

o Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.

o Practical knowledge of job coaching and workplace integration methods.

o Ability to work collaboratively with employers and PWDs.

o Strong organisational and documentation skills, with good attitude and commitment

Total package : Up to $3500

Employment type : Contract for Service

Prior experience is an advantage. Other terms can be further discussed.
