Job descriptionMin Degree in Civil & Structural engineering Min 2 years of viaduct and / or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project / construction environment Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills Experience in civil / structural / geotechnical design will be an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM) / Senior Project Manager (SPM) / Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
- Advise the PRPM / SPM / PM on-site quality and safety issues
- Determine any non-conformances on works
- Liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
- Ensure that decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
- Provide feedback to the PRPM / SPM / PM on quality and safety matters and suggests quality improvement measures for implementation on site
- Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
- Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site

- Assist in the operating of the PMCC
