Job duties and responsibilities :

• Understanding and interpreting technical drawing which includes geometrical dimension and tolerance, and related engineering information to determine type of processes required, establish a cost efficient method of production and plan the sequence of manufacturing operation needed to produce the part.
• Identify and select appropriate tool and machine to be used in preparation for the machining task.
• Develop CNC program for milling and turning using SolidCAM software.
• Monitor and improve production cycle time and cost.
• Design fixture, gauge or tooling accessory to support production process.
• Provide technical support to production department.
• Participate in cost reduction, quality improvement, safety awareness and other activities for continual improvement.
