Join Our Team as an IT Support Engineer!
We are looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Support Engineer to support and manage essential tech systems across our retail stores and head office. In this fast-paced role, you will handle everything from hardware and software troubleshooting to system implementation and vendor coordination. You will play a key role in keeping critical operations-from inventory and sales systems to HR and accounting-running smoothly. Job Responsibilities :
- Process and manage IT-related requests from both store and head office staff
- Procure, configure, manage, and provide support for IT equipment such as PCs, MFPs, software, and network devices used in stores and the office
- Administer software licenses and user accounts (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe)
- Maintain control over IT asset inventory and documentation
- Provide system support in collaboration with IT vendors and PPIH HQ IT teams
- Troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues
- Deliver training and guidance to internal team members to ensure compliance with corporate IT policies
- Support the implementation, improvement, and maintenance of systems essential for daily operations

Basic knowledge of POS environments in supermarkets or hypermarkets3+ years of experience as an in-house IT Officer / ExecutiveHands-on experience with setup of PCs, servers, MFPs, and general networkingAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office tools and data processing using CSV or text filesExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and negotiation skillsBasic Japanese language ability (reading, writing, speaking)Flexible in task prioritization and shifting responsibilities as neededComfortable working in a multicultural team environmentUnderstanding of retail store operations and a service-oriented approach to frontline IT supportWork Requirements
Working hours : Weekdays Mondays to Fridays (9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM)Note : Urgent incidents may require support outside of regular hours, including weekends and public holidays
