Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description – GST Manager / Senior Manager

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced GST professional to play a key role in the growth of our Tax practice. We are looking for someone who is client-focused, highly organised, and detail-oriented. As a key member of the management team, you will drive client success, accelerate team performance, and oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients. Your responsibilities will cover the full spectrum of GST advisory and compliance services.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on GST implications of business operations and transactions across industries, including the financial sector.
  • Assist clients with GST registrations, exemptions, and applications under various GST schemes.
  • Review and e-file GST returns.
  • Conduct GST health checks, due diligence reviews, ASK (Assisted Self-Help Kit) reviews, and ACAP (Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme) reviews.
  • Support clients in managing IRAS GST audits and investigations.
  • Assist clients in seeking GST rulings from IRAS.
  • Support partners in growing the GST practice and contribute to ad-hoc projects and related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a relevant discipline. Professional qualification recognised by SCTP preferred.
  • At least 6 years of Singapore GST experience, ideally in a professional services or accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws and GST guidelines.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing clients, staff, and projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational ability with a focus on timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Motivated and driven, with a desire for career progression.
  • SCTP accreditation (e.g. Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) (GST) or Accredited Tax Advisor (GST)) will be an advantage.
