Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • In-charge of the products’ electrical systems, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and power distribution systems.
  • Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of equipment and machinery, ensuring that all systems are correctly set up and fully operational.
  • Ensure that all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including health and safety guidelines, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
  • Determine the priority and scheduling of maintenance tasks and corrective actions for electrical systems to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure that QEHS standards are consistently upheld within the area of responsibility.

2) Authorities

  • The Electrical Engineer holds the authority to make technical decisions related to electrical systems.
  • The Electrical Engineer authorizes the selection of electrical components, materials, and tools required for projects, ensuring they meet performance standards and project requirements.

    • 3) Organization Relationships

  • Reports to Asst General Manager and Senior Management to ensure that electrical components and installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications.
  • Collaborates closely with the design and fabrication teams to ensure that electrical designs are integrated into the overall equipment design and meet operational requirements.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Related license / certifications in electrical systems
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design, power distribution, motor control, and control systems is required
  • Engineer : 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Technician : 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • 5 days work week
  • Monday - Friday 8.15am - 6pm
