Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Chief Engineer in implementing maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment and fixtures and preventive maintenance programmes of the Hotel.
• Assist in the preparation of work schedules of all Engineering staff including their shifts, days off and all leave matters.
• Involves in the training of staff according to established procedures and standards
• Submit daily acitivities report on operations, repair, maintenance and special projects. Keep accurate reports of machine breakdowns, repairs and operating costs.
• Log down all activities including service breakdowns that occur during his shift and submit report to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Conduct daily briefings to all staff in the shift.
• Check and follow up on out-of-order rooms to be released soonest possible.
• Prepares list of replacement parts to be ordered.
• Prepares monitoring chart in public areas and guestrooms preventive maintenance.
