Job Summary :
The Asset Management professional is responsible for the effective tracking, control, and optimization of organizational assets throughout their lifecycle. This includes managing asset records, coordinating approvals, maintaining the storeroom, and ensuring compliance with disposal procedures. The role supports operational efficiency and accurate reporting for both physical and digital assets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update accurate records of store inventory, including desktops, monitors, and accessories.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and safe storage of incoming IT equipment.
- Oversee asset tracking and movement, including check-in / check-out processes, deployment, and returns.
- Ensure all asset movements are accurately recorded in the inventory / asset management system.
- Coordinate with project teams to facilitate equipment delivery and collection based on project schedules.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in physical and system records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support inventory forecasting and notify the team of low stock or replenishment needs.
- Prepare and share timely inventory and asset movement reports using Excel and other tools.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation) to manage and analyze inventory data.
- Be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items, including desktops, monitors, and packaging materials.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and transportation of IT equipment when required.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in store or warehouse administration, preferably in an IT or hardware-related environment.Strong working knowledge of Excel and basic inventory software / tools.Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.Familiarity with asset tracking systems and standard inventory practices.Good organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.Basic understanding of desktop hardware and accessories is an added advantageKnowledge of proper disposal procedures and regulatory requirements is a plus.Tell employers what skills you have
