The Role
To provide operational and administrative support to the hospital’s accredited doctors, primarily through the hospital’s Medical Advisory Board (MAB), its sub-committees, and Specialty Interest Groups (SIGs), in order to aid in the medical staff organization in providing excellent patient care.
Key accountabilities
1. Coordinate events and meetings for MAB, sub-committees, SIGs & Secretariat to SIGs
2. Coordinate monthly mortality and morbidity review
3. Monitor and track that all accredited doctors have a valid BCLS, MPS Licenses
4. In-charge of information dissemination (e.g. Doctor’s leave of Absence, management updates)
5. Process requests for Medical Officer Assistants, Surgical Assistants, Hands-Off Observer, clinic staff registration
6. Coordinate events / activities for doctors (e.g. Peer Review Learning sessions, Doctors’ Townhall etc)
7. Assist with obtaining doctor’s leave forecast for the prospective month / quarter and roster planning
8. Office Administration
Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 1 - 2 years of work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
