An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Consultant to join a regional technology solutions provider specializing in retail and industrial automation, offering POS systems and integrated fintech services. The company supports businesses across Southeast Asia with end-to-end hardware, software, and digital commerce solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Business Development Consultant, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your ability to connect with clients at all levels will be crucial. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with prospective customers through impactful presentations, gathering essential business requirements, and crafting bespoke proposals that address their unique challenges.

Conduct comprehensive sales presentations with potential clients to gather high-level scope and detailed business requirements, ensuring all information is accurately captured for solution development.
Prepare, update, and maintain sales kits, proposals, and quotations tailored to each client's unique needs and industry verticals.
Carry out thorough market intelligence activities and fact-finding tasks to gain deep insights into customer requirements and emerging trends within the digital services sector.
Act as a vital communication bridge between internal teams and customers, ensuring clear understanding and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Confidently pitch solutions to C-level executives and senior management, adapting your approach to suit different audiences and maximise engagement.
Develop customised presentations for specific accounts and industry sectors, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of each client's business context.
Lead the preparation of commercial proposals and negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached while maintaining strong client relationships.

What You Bring

Possess at least a Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent field that demonstrates your technical foundation.

Bring a minimum of five years' experience working across multiple domains within the IT digital service industry; application-driven backgrounds are especially valued.

Demonstrate fluency in English (both oral and written), with proficiency in an additional major language considered an advantage for broader client engagement.

Showcase strong technical acumen combined with analytical abilities to gather feedback effectively from diverse stakeholders.

Exhibit resilience under pressure with proven capability to handle stress while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.

Display extensive experience supporting customers from varied backgrounds, adeptly handling issues with patience and a positive attitude focused on finding solutions.
