Position : Aircon Repair and Servicing Technician
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Aircon Repair and Servicing Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, good customer communication skills, and a commitment to safety and service quality. Candidates with no prior experience are also welcome to join as apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect spare parts from the warehouse store based on daily job assignments indicated on the tablet.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in malfunctioning HVAC systems.
- Dismantle, wash, and clean air-conditioning components to enhance efficiency and air quality.
- Refill refrigerants, identify and fix leaks as required.
- Communicate with clients regarding equipment issues and provide post-job updates.
- Prepare service reports after every completed job for customer endorsement.
- Ensure proper upkeep of tools and maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act requirements and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary (e.g., goggles, earplugs, respirators, safety harnesses, safety shoes, helmets, sunscreen).
- Provide technical advice and assistance on maintenance functions.
- Perform other ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by the reporting manager or management.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Nitec / NTC 2 or 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic fields.At least 1 year of relevant experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or M&E system maintenance.Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (an added advantage).Experience in air-conditioning repair and maintenance is required; experience in HVAC or ACMV systems for residential or commercial sectors is preferred.Positive attitude, good interpersonal and customer service skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as apprentices.What We Offer
