Overview We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to join the PM Group. For this role, we need someone who has the capability to manage Mechanical Construction activities on behalf of our client on a seconded basis. Responsibilities Oversee the implementation of the applicable processes and procedures to manage the Mechanical construction activities. Liaise with General Contractor and Design Team to make best decisions for the project that align with the project objectives. Drive the key milestones to achieve the required project schedule. Monitor progress against the schedule and facilitates planning to mitigate challenges. Manage stakeholder expectations Provides weekly and monthly status and progress reports across Safety, Quality and Schedule for Mechanical construction including identification of risks and responses. Unblock the routine obstacles that inevitably occur on fast track projects. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. At least 10 years experience in Mechanical Construction and / or Engineering. Strong work ethic, high level of integrity, self motivated, proactive, with creative approach to thinking and problem-solving. Good interpersonal skills with proven ability of collaboration within a multi-discipline team in a large scale construction environment. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with proven capability in reporting to senior management levels. Good organizational and time management skills with ability to produce accurate work within strict timelines.
