Job Overview :

The Senior PR Manager, APAC will be part of Coursera’s global communications team, reporting to the Global VP of Communications. The role is Singapore-based and fully remote. The communications team is responsible for telling the story of how Coursera is shaping the future of work and education, and transforming lives through access to high-quality, job-relevant learning. It is a nimble, globally distributed team that partners with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to tell the right stories to the right audiences at the right time.

We’re looking for a mission-driven communications professional to support Coursera’s APAC business – including B2C, university and industry partnerships, and enterprise – with a focus on Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and other key markets. You’ll craft media strategies that position Coursera as a leading destination for institutions driving skills development and for individuals earning world-class credentials. Coursera offers three solutions for institutions – Coursera for Business, Coursera for Governments, and Coursera for Campus. Together, they convene an ecosystem of institutions to build a framework for lifelong learning that reaches people at every stage of civic life – during their studies, during their careers, and at any point in between.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional counterparts in marketing, public policy, customer success, sales, and legal to support launches and announcements. You’ll also drive proactive storytelling and thought leadership across enterprise and consumer PR, shape media strategy around key milestones, and deepen relationships with business, higher education, technology, and policy reporters. • Plan and execute strategic senior executive visits across APAC, including media tours, customer engagements, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Grow the thought leadership program by driving keynotes, data reports, speaking opps, and opinion articles in priority markets with great proactivity and creative thinking
  • Coach and prepare senior executives for media interviews, events, and customer engagements with tailored briefing books and messaging guidance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, policy, and customer success to surface stories that highlight Coursera’s impact with learners, enterprises, and governments.
