Responsibilities:

• Strategic Client & Broker Support: Prepare detailed quotations, compelling proposals, and professional presentations for marine cargo risks. Act as a key liaison to coordinate underwriting information flow between brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• End-to-End Policy Management: Take ownership of the policy lifecycle—accurately issuing contracts, endorsements, and certificates while ensuring strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Business Growth & Market Engagement: Support targeted marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote our marine cargo solutions and expand our client portfolio.
• Process Excellence: Maintain meticulous client and prospect databases, proactively monitor pending documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting and service workflows.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in marine underwriting is essential.
• A proactive professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust with brokers and clients.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to pursue the Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) is required if not already held.
• A true team player who is customer-focused, tactful, and committed to ongoing professional development.
