Pharmacy Technician

You will assist pharmacists in ensuring the availability ofmedications and facilitate patient care through processing ofmedication orders which includes typing, packing and basiccounselling. You will also be required to prepare extemporaneoussyrups.

In addition for IPAS, you will berequired to handle the operation of the automation system and drugpreparation for unit dose packaging and distribution to thewards.

You will also perform duties such aschecking and topping up of medications in ward medication trolleysand Pyxis. You may be required to prepare and supply medications toautomated dispensing machines (ADM) in the wards and operatingtheatres.

• Diploma in PharmaceuticalScience from local Polytechnic or WSQ Advanced Certificate inPharmacy Support or equivalent
• Work experiencein retail / hospital / clinic will be an advantage
• Able to perform shift duties
