Regional - Asia Foundation Manager Primary Details

Develop and implement the strategy for the QBE Foundation aligned to the global QBE Foundation strategy and QBE's purpose, vision, strategic priorities and group-wide sustainability strategy. Responsible for the development, implementation and end-to-end management of QBE Foundation partnerships, programs, initiatives and events. Continued management ofmunity partnership and lead on partnership review

  • Develop and implement the strategy for the QBE Foundation, in alignment with global strategy and sustainability objectives
  • Work to incorporate the initiatives of QBEmunity projects (FIAP, vulnerable customers, QBE Foundation and D&I) and develop pathways to facilitatemunication between business units and integration of QBE social impact initiatives
  • Measure the social impact of QBE Foundation partnerships and programs through B4SI and other social impact frameworks developed and implemented. Includes annual disclosure through sustainability report
  • Provide SME knowledge to tenders and client proposal to win and retain business
  • Partner with business areas to seek opportunities to demonstrate social impact and unique value proposition created through the QBE Foundation partnerships and programs
  • Contribute to building a diverse and inclusive workplace through QBE Foundation programs and initiatives
  • Ensuremunity partners align to QBE purpose, vision, strategy, and values
  • Partner withmunication, Marketing and Sponsorship teams to develop and implement internal and externalmunications, marketing and sponsorship strategy to build brand awareness and increase reputation of QBE in external market
  • Manage QBE Foundationmittee, engaging regional representatives to execute strategic programs and initiatives
  • Manage the annualmunity partner review and selection process
  • Responsible for thepletion of financial, ALT and board reports as required and contribute to annual sustainability reporting process including investor analyst disclosures such as DJSI.
  • Monitor and improve relevant policies to ensure employees can easily engage inmunity initiatives (eg Volunteer Policy, Skilled Volunteering)
  • Work with HO Social Impact to develop processes and ways of working within the QBE Foundation, to ensure clear accountability and positive oues
  • Work with HO Social Impact to improvemunications channels which allow better collaboration across regions and business functions to deliver greater impact and oues when working withmunity organisations, sustainability initiatives and vulnerable customers
  • Leverage Benevity platform to drive employee involvement and engagement in social impact initiatives
  • Lead AcceliCITY activity locally working in conjunction with regional foundation managers for global consistency
  • Manage relationship with Orange Sky including partnership review
  • Manage and build strong relationships withmunity partners to create long term sustainable partnerships
  • Manage and promote Employee Volunteering opportunities Volunteer Days, Team Building, Skilled Volunteering Projects
  • Manage, support and attend QBE Foundation andmunity partner events as required
  • Partner with Employee Action Groups ( QBE Pride and RAPmittee) to create synergies and leverage opportunities to connect to a broader audience driving sustainable oues
  • Partner with business areas to create opportunities to connect our key customers with the QBE Foundation andmunity partners through events and sponsorship opportunities
  • Manage the QBE Foundation budget and planning process
  • As the business owner, project manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of relevant systems
  • Recognise and manage risk by carrying out proper due diligence on potential partners and initiatives and ensuring the team is following up to date policies and guidelines
  • Coach and influence QBE Foundationmittee members, regional representatives and senior leaders to execute QBE Foundation strategy
  • Coachmunity-partners to identify skilled and unskilled volunteering opportunities to offer to QBE employees
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure connection between different business units and sustainability and social impact priorities
  • Engage employees in themunity and Sustainability initiatives of QBE
