The Logistics Solutions Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing innovative logistics strategies and solutions to improve supply chain performance. This role involves analyzing logistics processes, managing customer relationships, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and executing supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to understand logistics needs and deliver value-added solutions.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to logistics performance, cost, and service levels.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including proposal development and solution presentations.
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics technology (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP) to improve visibility and streamline operations.
- Continuously research market trends and advancements in logistics to maintain competitive solutions.
- Mentor and support junior logistics analysts and coordinators
Requirements :
Experience in international supply chain management logistics5+ years of experience in logistics, or a related role.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, JDA, etc.)Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Experience working with third-party logistics (3PLs) is a plus.Tell employers what skills you have
