Roles & Responsibilities
- Take the lead in organizing, supervising, and streamlining facilities operations to guarantee efficiency and business continuity.
- Protect vital infrastructure and make sure that facilities meet the organization's strategic requirements.
- Create and carry out cost-cutting projects, preventative maintenance plans, and facilities management strategies.
- Oversee significant facilities improvement projects, such as remodeling, moving, and eco-friendly projects.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (business units, IT, HR, and HSE) to make sure facility operations meet changing business needs.
- For well-informed decision-making, clearly communicate technical and operational facility challenges to senior management.
- Keep emergency response plans, business continuity plans, and facilities risk assessments current.
- Encourage ongoing enhancements to facility management procedures, such as energy management, contractor management, and space use optimization.
- To improve service delivery and compliance, standardize and document processes.
- Oversee a number of outside suppliers and service providers for waste management, building services, gardening, cleaning, security, and maintenance.
- Assure effective vendor assessments, contract administration, and the acquisition of services linked to facilities.
- Verify adherence to regional construction codes, fire safety specifications, and occupational health and safety guidelines.
Requirements :
A bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, building services, facilities management, or a similar discipline.It is beneficial to have a facilities management certification, such as IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or its equivalent.At least five to eight years of relevant experience managing facilities, ideally in a technical, industrial, or business setting.Excellent experience in budgeting, project execution, and vendor management.Thorough knowledge of HVAC, fire safety, security, and building management systems (BMS)Tell employers what skills you have
