Regional Seafreight Pricing Manager / Freight Forwarding MNC / Central - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a Freight Forwarding Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Regional Seafreight Pricing Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure competitive freight solutions.
• Handle rate negotiations, contract terms, and credit arrangements with shipping partners.
• Secure freight space through allocation planning and flexible agreements.
• Foster strong working relationships with carrier headquarters and regional teams.
• Conduct regular carrier evaluations and support collaborative business planning efforts.
• Coordinate procurement approaches in line with commercial and operational strategies across APAC and within global networks.
• Contribute to freight growth by leveraging market knowledge and close collaboration with carriers.
• Provide strategic pricing input for large-scale bids and customer quotations.
• Ensure market competitiveness by aligning procurement practices with pricing strategy.
• Prepare monthly reports covering freight volume, carrier performance, and procurement KPIs.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to guide purchasing strategy.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, operations, and product management to support aligned and efficient procurement activities.
• Share market intelligence and procurement insights internally to support business planning.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
