Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE :
To develop and maintain Process Automation System hardware
NATURE & SCOPE :
1) New Product Development
a) Proceeds development according to implement plan
b) Makes functional specification
c) Proceeds electrical, mechanical or firmware design
d) Plans and proceeds prototype model evaluation and prepare evaluation to reports.
2) Re-design of Products
a) Supports Lead Engineer to estimate return and investment
b) Proceed re-design according to implementation plan
c) Proceeds electrical, mechanical or firmware design
d) Plans and proceeds prototype model evaluation and prepare evaluation report
e) Makes up product manufacturing standard
3) Technical Support
a) Prepares technical information for parts localize and price negotiation
b) Supports production line if necessary according to superior’s direction
c) Supports parts faculty / investigation according to superior’s direction
4) Improvement of work environment
a) Prepares work standard for department operations, and follow it
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
1) Making Functional Specification
According to implementation plan, prepares functional specification of product with
considering customer needs’ and performance.
2) Product Design
Based on the functional specification, makes up design drawings with considering quality and cost competitiveness.
3) Product Evaluation
In order to ensure quality and performance meet to requirement, proceed evaluation and prepare evaluation report. Evaluation is required for both of new products and re-designed product.
4) Component Evaluation
In order to replace component, proceeds component evaluation
3) Trouble Shooting
For a slight trouble, analyses its cause and makes counter measure with / without superior’s support
4) Improve work environment
According to superior’s direction, proposes one’s idea for improvement and conduct it.
Qualification :
Degree in mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering
