Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is in the Environmental industry, they are one of the leading waste management solutions providers in Singapore. They are located in the West area – easily accessible.

Responsibilities :

• Contractor & Compliance Management : Ensure all contractors comply with waste collection requirements (PPE, documentation, regulations) and follow up on collection progress; manage adherence to authority regulations (e.g., NEA, LTA).
• Customer & Internal Coordination : Handle customer queries and requests on waste collection, coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams, and attend plant-level meetings (EHS, operations, sales) to resolve issues and monitor operations.
• Logistics Planning & Equipment Maintenance : Plan transportation capacity (trucks, pumps, hoses), back up logistics scheduling, and oversee maintenance programs for all logistics equipment, either internally or through external contractors.
• Administrative & Financial Oversight : Manage submission for transportation containment, verify supplier invoices, consolidate monthly cost data, and maintain compliance with vehicle regulations.
• Team Management & Reporting : Manage logistics staff including hiring, performance evaluation, and training; report monthly on progress, cost reduction measures, bottlenecks, and solutions to the Logistics Director; maintain logistics records and reports.
