- Strategic development and execution of marketing plansand tactics for FreeStyle Libre to drive market penetration andaccelerate profitable sales growth.
- Drivebrand awareness and adoption via multi-channel marketing, includinghealthcare professionals, direct-to-consumer and communityactivations.
- Establish and maintain robustmarketing processes to drive seamless execution and a measurementculture to track progress andeffectiveness.
MAIN / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement annual business plans to achievebusiness targetsPlan and execute marketingactivities flawlessly, working closely with cross-functional teamsand partnersLocalize the global brandcampaigns when necessary and execute 360 across all relevantchannels HCPs, consumer, e-commerce, CRM and retailDevelop and implement 360-communication plan withtraditional and digital media and other consumer touchpoints,working with local media agencies, country manager, distributorsand sales teamsTrack and articulate marketperformance, trends (e.g., digital media, social listening,competitive tracking, medical, regulatory, technological, social,environmental, and legal). and identify their impact on thebusiness to influence business strategy, identify future risks andopportunities and ensure the business is delivering upon its growthtargets.Demonstrate excellent projectmanagement skillsWork collaboratively withArea and local cross functional teams to execute marketinginitiatives with success, as well as identify further opportunitiesfor Freestyle Libre.Analyze ROI ofadvertising and promotional investments to optimize themixMonitor brand performance and marketingbudget to ensure it meets KPIs on sales andprofitabilityBuild rapport & work closelywith KOLs to drive brand awareness, preference andadvocacyExecute field activities such as roadshows, product training and symposiums to create product awarenessamong health professionals and publicEnsurethat all business activities are conducted in accordance withAbbott Code of Ethics and local governmentlaws.MINIMUMBACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A basic degree in business studies, marketing, or anysciences8+ years of consumer marketingmanagement experience gained at a country, regional or global levelof an MNC; experience in HCP marketing will be an addedadvantagePreferably in the pharmaceuticaland / or FMCG Health or OTC / medical device industryKnowledge & experience in diabetes category will beadvantageousVersatile, result-oriented,energetic / dynamic personality & passionate aboutbrandingInnovative & resourceful personthat thinks out of the box to deliver creative and cost-effectivebranding strategiesAn excellent communicator,both verbally & in writingIntimateknowledge of marketing mix tools and applicationknow-howIn-depth understanding of theworkings of strategic & operational marketing, businessplanning & current healthcare marketing bestpracticesOrganizational skills &operational rigor to ensure effective execution of plansAchieve Plan sales and marginAchieve new users and retentiontargets
