Roles & Responsibilities

Location : Singapore

Employment Type : Full-Time

About the Role

On behalf of our client in the logistics, supply chain, and healthcare services industry , we are seeking experienced and motivated lawyers to join the Legal & Contract Management team. Depending on your experience, you may join as a Legal Counsel (3–5 years PQE) or a Principal Legal Counsel (10–15 years PQE) . Both roles provide critical legal support across corporate, commercial, and operational areas, ensuring compliance and enabling effective business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, internal policies, and statutory regulations.
Provide legal support and advice on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise contracts and terms with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations on contractual terms.
Liaise with business units, buyers, and suppliers to manage clarifications, disputes, and variations in contracts.
Draft legal documents, including agreements, termination / warning letters, and notices of demand.
Advise on liquidated damages, guarantees, insurance provisions, tenders, and related contractual issues.
Support dispute resolution and post-contractual legal matters, including drafting Supplemental and Novation Agreements.
Stay updated on legal developments and contribute to strengthening the organisation’s legal knowledge base.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by senior management.

Requirements

Legal Counsel (3–5 years PQE)

Qualified Lawyer with 3–5 years’ PQE, with experience in litigation, corporate, or corporate secretariat work.

Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication abilities, with confidence to advise non-legal stakeholders.

Organised, meticulous, adaptable, and resourceful team player.

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare services is advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Principal Legal Counsel (10–15 years PQE)

Qualified Lawyer with 10–15 years’ PQE, with significant experience in litigation, corporate law, and corporate secretariat work.

Proven ability to advise senior management and boards on complex legal and commercial matters.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and provide strategic legal guidance.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and judgment skills, balancing legal risk with business needs.

Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity in a dynamic environment.

Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare services is advantageous.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
