Radiation Therapist

Key accountabilities

• To operate the linear accelerator and supporting treatment systems to treat patients in strict compliance to the prescription of Radiation Oncologist and generate accurate documentation of the doses delivered
• To transfer and input patient treatment plan and parameters into the systems
• To operate the CT simulator to produce CT images for treatment planning purposes following the specific request of the attending Radiation Oncologist
• To carry out daily QA procedure for treatment machine and CT simulator
• To explain to patients the procedures and possible side effects of treatment

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised qualifications in Radiation Therapy
• Registered with AHPC Singapore
