Job descriptionMaintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs Ensure accurate and complete documentation in compliance with cGMP standards Support validation and qualification of microbiological methods and equipment Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, and audit readiness Ensure compliance with EHS and biosafety standards in all laboratory activities Assist in training new staff on microbiological techniques and procedures Contribute to laboratory performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and resolve microbiological issues Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field 1–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory, preferably in a GMP environment Familiarity with microbiological techniques and regulatory guidelines (e.g., USP, EP, FDA, ICH) Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills Experience with LIMS and electronic documentation systems Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom behaviour Understanding of ISO standards and environmental monitoring programs.

About the Role
A leading global pharmaceutical organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Microbiologist to join its Quality Control – Microbiology team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance through microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and method validation.
Key Responsibilities
Microbiological Testing & Monitoring
- Perform routine and non-routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, utilities, and production areas
- Carry out microbial identification, endotoxin testing, bioburden testing, and sterility testing
