Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Marine preferred) or Business with technical aptitude Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Able to read technical drawings and understand basic control systems is a plus Willing to travel occasionally for client meetings or site assessments Sales incentive scheme Exposure to high-value technical sales in a specialized marine niche Opportunity for growth into regional accounts or technical sales management
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients in the maritime, offshore, and shipyard industries
- Promote and explain automation, retrofit, and engineering solutions (e.g., tank gauging, engine monitoring, ICCP, CCTV, fire detection, AMS, etc.)
- Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with the engineering team
- Follow up on leads, tenders, and quotations to drive conversion
- Attend site visits, meetings, and trade shows as necessary
- Maintain CRM records and produce regular sales reports
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and handover
