About the job
As a member of the Education Division, this person will direct activities of the Education sales team to produce a healthy pipeline, drive sales, build brand recognition for training products and services, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities include :
- Achievement of the Education revenue target
- Assigns appropriate sales goals and assignments to sales staff; determines optimal utilization of staff and resources to achieve sales goals
- Manages pipeline and monitors progress towards sales goals
- Provides timely and accurate forecasting
- Drives development and implementation of account plans by sales staff
- Maintains professional knowledge of SAS products and solutions and Education offerings
- Attends customer meetings with sales representative on a regular basis to ensure highest quality delivery of sales and service
- Responsible for management of the sales team including hiring, performance management, coaching, professional skills development, career progression, and retaining talent
- Identifies revenue growth opportunities and implements sales strategies to support them
- Recommends sales pricing and promotions
- Oversees leads management and conversion reporting
- Delivers sales performance reporting to business operations for validation and to finance for processing
- Provides sales support for sales representatives while serving as escalation point of contact for customers
- Formulates all sales policies, practices, and procedures
- Partners closely with the other SAS departments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeExperience in Education Sales Management, preferably in the technology industryDemonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales targetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPublic speaking experience to all levels of corporate executive leadershipAbility to communicate visually, verbally and in a written capacity for internal corporate stakeholders and external customersAbility to travelYou’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
