Roles & Responsibilities

A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Junior Data Engineer position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources including internal systems, APIs, and web platforms
• Ensure the availability of high-quality, reliable data to support analytics and machine learning initiatives
• Optimize cloud-based data infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
• Implement robust data validation, quality checks, and monitoring systems
• Enhance data warehouse performance through techniques like partitioning and clustering
• Collaborate with data science teams to productionize preprocessing logic and support feature engineering
• Automate workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow or Luigi, with clear documentation
• Contribute to the development of data governance and quality assurance frameworks
