Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients through regular engagement.
Identify and develop new market opportunities and customer bases, particularly in key regions relevant to coal and coke trading.
Monitor market trends and dynamics, providing internal stakeholders with timely insights on product fundamentals and trading strategies.
Develop a reliable network of coal mine resources, importers, and end-user channels across target markets to support global expansion.
Participate in the negotiation and execution of procurement and sales contracts, including cost analysis to ensure effective trade implementation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams—Sales, Operations, Shipping, and Purchasing—to resolve supply chain challenges and ensure smooth trading execution.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.

At least 3 years of experience in commodities trading - with specific exposure to coal, coke, petrochemicals, or base metals.

Proven track record in developing and executing trading strategies, with commercial acumen and deal-making experience.

Strong understanding of coal / coke market trends, supply dynamics, and trading channels, with an established network of industry contacts.

Self-motivated, mature, and able to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-cultural team environment.
