About the Role

  • Workshop Construction Machinery Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, logistics, and supply chain functions supporting our heavy equipment and construction machinery operations.
  • This role ensures that workshop and machinery assets are effectively managed, maintained, and deployed to meet project requirements with optimal cost efficiency and minimal downtime.

Workshop & Asset Management

  • Oversee workshop operations to ensure machinery readiness, fleet availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules in line with project needs.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and lifecycle, ensuring optimal allocation across multiple project sites.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate transportation, mobilization, and demobilization of machinery and equipment to project sites.
  • Manage spare parts procurement, vendor negotiations, and inventory control to prevent shortages and delays.
  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to streamline supply chain processes for workshop operations.
  • Operational Efficiency

  • Track workshop KPIs : downtime, repair turnaround, equipment utilization.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and logistics efficiency.
  • Optimize fleet scheduling to reduce idle time and maximize asset
  • Leadership

  • Lead and train workshop staff, mechanics, and logistics coordinators to ensure high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports for management on fleet performance, cost trends, and operational risks.
  • Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing heavy equipment workshops, fleet logistics, or plant supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction machinery, fleet deployment, and workshop logistics.
