Roles & Responsibilities

Are you confident in teaching Mandarin to young children — and ready to commit to a full-time teaching career with weekend classes?

We’re hiring a Chinese Language Teacher to join a Mandarin-focused enrichment centre in Singapore. If you’re fluent in Mandarin and passionate about helping young learners build strong language foundations, this role may be a strong long-term fit.

Key Highlights

  • Full-time, direct-hire role at a Mandarin enrichment centre

Working Hours

Weekends are compulsory

Saturday & Sunday : 8 : 30 AM – 6 : 45 PM

  • Weekdays : Any 3 days (10 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)
  • 2 weekday off-days will be scheduled by centre management

    • Who We’re Looking For

  • Singapore Citizen or PR only
  • Diploma in Chinese Studies , Education , or related field (Singapore-recognised)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Chinese to young children (group setting)
  • Strong spoken Mandarin — must be confident interacting with children and parents
  • Familiarity with Singapore’s early childhood or lower primary Chinese curriculum is a plus

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Mandarin enrichment classes to children aged 4–6
  • Follow centre’s curriculum with room for creative adaptation
  • Track and support each child’s language development
  • Provide regular Mandarin updates to parents
  • Maintain a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
