Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) is the governing body for the aquatic sports of swimming, water polo, diving and artistic swimming in Singapore as a member of the World Aquatics . SAQ is charged with the development and education of aquatic players, officials, coaches and volunteers throughout Singapore and with the conduct of competitions and programs for all levels of participation.

SWIMMING PATHWAY EXECUTIVE
A. PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Director, National Swimming Pathways, the Swimming Pathway Executive will be responsible for supporting the delivery of SAQ’s national learn-to-swim program. This person will play a key role in managing the administrative tasks associated with program delivery, including coordination and execution of the program, providing support to key stakeholders and vendors, and maintaining accurate records.
B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the administrative tasks associated with program delivery, including being the primary liaison for vendors.
- Manage membership for the program, including registrations, renewals, and record-keeping
- Maintain accurate records and databases of participants, coaches and assessors, as well assessment results and certificates.
- Provide support to participants, coaches, assessors, parents and key stakeholders such as MOE, including supporting the program manager in responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with ActiveSG on assessment centre venues, including booking, protocols and venue management.
- Assist in preparing materials and other program information for dissemination.
- Work with the marketing team to develop appropriate promotional materials, using brand guidelines.
- Promote the event through various marketing channels to attract participants and spectators.
- Work closely with the SAQ Communications team to make sure events and activities are promoted across all relevant channels.
- Coordinate and manage logistics and other initiatives in support of the program.
- Assist in monitoring expenses and the overall program budget
- Assist in the planning and conduct of program surveys
- Assist in managing volunteers
- Act as the secretary for the learn to swim sub-committee, including taking and distributing minutes, tracking action items, and providing administrative support as needed.
C. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, KEY QUALITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Diploma / Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Physical Education, Sports Management or any sports-related fields.Passionate event planner with at least 1 to 2 years of event management experience is an added advantageFresh graduates welcome to apply.Proficient in MS-Office applications.A dynamic and mature person with a strong passion for sports.Good interpersonal communications and writing skills is a must.Possess initiative with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet agreed schedules / deadlinesA can-do attitude with focus on achieving resultsExcellent organizational skills, time management, and meticulous attention to detailStrong and resourceful plannerFlexible approach to work, and the ability to be agile in the requirements of planning and delivering eventsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.Tell employers what skills you have
